Hotel Podstine

Prednosti: The beach landing was nice, the breakfast was delicious with lots of varieties. The staff were very nice and friendly, the spa facilities although small but very well maintained.

Nedostaci: The only downside was that the bed was too short for people with 180 cm+

A great place to stay out of Hvar town but close enough to walk into town.

Prednosti: The hotel was a little removed from the town of Hvar but was easily accessed by taxi or a wonderful seawall walkway which had small cafes and views along it. Our room had a wonderful view through the palms to the water and was very quiet and private. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. A bonus of the hotel was the direct access to the water and the variety of seating and lounging areas overlooking the water. Breakfasts, and food in general, was very good and varied, not rushed or overly busy. Staff was very helpful and professional. We had no complaints.

Nedostaci: The gym could have been better equipped but, to be fair, it was rarely used during our stay.

Great Location next to the Sea

Prednosti: Location is great. The hotel opens into the sea and the bar staff were attentive in refilling our empty glasses! Great sunset spot within easy reach to central Hvar.

A peaceful hotel with a great quiet location out of town and pleasant rooms.

Prednosti: The hotel’s location is one of its best features. It sits just outside of town, making it peaceful and quiet, yet easy to reach by bike. We appreciated being able to store our bikes inside overnight. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with a reasonable range of options including croissants, cheese, meat, smoked salmon, yoghurt, and eggs. Dinner, which was included, offered a selection of meat, fish, potatoes, vegetables, and salad. We were also delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade to one with a sea-view balcony, which made our stay in October especially pleasant

Nedostaci: On the downside, the hotel might feel a bit far if you’re on foot, as it’s outside the town centre. While the breakfast and dinner were good, they were quite basic and lacked variety. The Wellness Centre was underwhelming; the masseuse was unavailable, and apart from a small fitness area and a sauna, there wasn’t much else to use. Overall, the setting and room made the stay enjoyable, but the wellness facilities and dining could be improved.

Loved the resort!!

Prednosti: We loved our stay at this hotel. Position was fine- It was 22 minute coastal walk into Hvar but this suited us because we love walking and didn’t bother with taxis. The room was really lovely and a real treat, we enjoyed the breakfasts and the fact that you could swim in the sea easily from down below.

Nedostaci: The staff did a satisfactory job but without much charm or enthusiasm. The exception was the lovely blonde woman with a ponytail at the lower bar beneath the pool area. She was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our time there.

Great location with spectacular views - Based on its 4 Star rating, the quality of food needs attention.

Nedostaci: The standard of food was disappointing & didn’t reflect what is portrayed on their website. I would add that our stay was at the tail of the season & occupancy was low which may have had some bearing on this - we ended up eating out most nights!

Excellent hotel in perfect location.

Prednosti: loved this hotel perfect location nice sea views, 20 min walk into town, mostly flat and downhill, few steps on the way back to hotel but nothing too much. If you want to get a taxi its 20 euros 1 way but we didnt need too. staff are really nice. I would stay here again.

Very relaxing break

Nedostaci: Difficult to get to and taxis are few and far between. No uber!

Lovely remote accomodation

Prednosti: Beach front was brilliant. Hotel facilities are excellent.

Nedostaci: The Annex rooms have views of roadway and back of buildings. You cannot access the beachside promenade walkway from the hotel to old town. You have to traverse through the streets and take flights of steps to get back to hotel. This would have been good to know before returning at night.
