Prednosti: I had a great stay at Barko Rooms. My room was small, but it truly had everything I needed, including a little balcony. You can even cook your own meals, and there’s a freezer to keep your drinks cold, which was great. The location is perfect, and unlike many other accommodations in the area, you don’t have to climb long flights of stairs with your luggage, which makes a big difference. Vinka is incredibly attentive and always ready to help with anything you might need, treating you with genuine kindness throughout your stay. She even kindly offered to take me to the fortress above the town. Highly recommended!
Nedostaci: Nothing. Even though my room was small, I don't think that was a problem at all.

Prednosti: Location was great (once I found it!) nice and close to the centre, but far enough away for quiet, also a 10-20 min walk to beautiful beach. I loved having a small kitchen and balcony. It was very new and nicely decorated/arranged. The kitchen had all the essentials like chopping board, oil, coffee etc.
Nedostaci: The room is above a family home which does have some clutter in the garden etc. I think it added to the character and I enjoyed seeing the Croatian family making lavender etc but some might not like this. The room was small but cosy.

Prednosti: Vinka and her boyfriend were the most thoughtful, helpful and nice the whole time of my staying. They even provided me another blanket when I felt like needing it. Everything was perfect, clean, the kitchen was well equipped(I managed to cook every day of my staying), AC worked perfectly both for cooling and for heating. I also liked the location on the quiet street just 5 minutes of walking from the port. I cannot be more happy that I picked this place, would recommend it to everyone.

A special Croatian hospitality
Prednosti: Was small but sweet. All I needed for one night. I was in a single room but it was creative so you could move the bed up and down and use the chair. The family were amazing… I could drop my luggage off early, the dad gave me a lift to the fortress, I joined them for a drink, sat down and chatted. All very beautiful and a special addition to my Croatian experience.

Best place to stay at Hvar.
Prednosti: The location of Barko Rooms is just perfect, close to the centre but also to the best beaches of Hvar. The rooms are super comfortable, with everything you need, balcony, kitchen, new bathrooms, everything is new, clean and you can notice the attention to details and that everything was created with love. Vinka and her family are the nicest family and they will help you with anything you need :) I had a such a good time with them! Willing to come back 💗

Prednosti: The apartment was very close to town center and the balcony was amazing ! We often ate out there and watched the sun set . The host were very welcoming and happily let us keep our bags there on the day we left as our ferry was a little later in the day. It was perfect and would definitely come back to stay.

Fabulous spot: book it!
Prednosti: Fabulous all round! I stayed in the single room: it was small but did not feel at all cramped due to the exemplary design: loved the little balcony to sit out on, location excellent: easy walking to the old town/ port/ minimart: but in quiet neighbourhood. Super friendly and kindly hosts. Loved having some cooking facilities and fridge/kettle etc. Private. Everything you could want, and excellent value.

Beautiful rooms
Prednosti: I’m so happy I chose to stay here. The rooms are so beautifully decorated- I can tell a woman decorated and thought about the design with care(and even have a nice seating area if you need to do laptop work & good WiFi ). My room had a balcony and a view with monastery in the and sea. The host is so kind and welcoming; Vinka I also very responsive on WhatsApp and helped me with the ferries (it was windy so there were some cancellations). Will stay here again when I come back-it’s also a really short (but pretty walk from the port) and the city square. So happy!
